Winter in the City

While I was on the Photo II field trip, I got a coffee to warm me up.  While I was walking, I saw this podium thing next to the road. I took this photo using aperture mode on my camera (Nikon 7200) I set it to blur out the background to showcase the patterns on the cup.  The one thing I would have changed about this photo is to lighten the aperture so it wouldn't be as blurry.  I would have liked it to be a little more clear.  I am proud of this photo because it went into the print edition for The Viking Vanguard.  I was excited to see it in the issue, however I wish that the photo could have been in color in the newspaper.
