Holi Powder

When I took this photo, I was aiming for something interesting and different to look at.  I used a prop (well kind of) called Holi powder which is colored power that people use in festivals.  I painted it all over my friends face, making her look a little crazy while making a great piece for a close up like I did here with a macro lens.  To shoot this photo, I took it in manual mode to control my DOF and shutter-speed.  I took it in a makeshift studio in my house. I used a black curtain and one of my studio lights to create it.
